More than $70,000 donated to Asante Rogue Regional Pediactrics

TOYS ASANTE

Medford, Ore.–   Christmas may be over, but the gift giving continued this morning at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center.  Representatives from the Northwest Credit Union Association wheeled in wagons full of toys for kids in the pediatric unit, as well as two checks totaling over $70,000.

It’s something the association has been doing since the 80’s.

“I hope it makes them feel loved,”  says Kathie Philp with Pacific Crest Credit Union.

“It’s something that just touches your heart whenever you see a little one who needs a little extra care,” adds Gene Pelham of Rogue Credit Union.

The money will be used for a much needed spruce up of the pediatric wing and will also be used to help pay for gas for families who have to travel far distances for their child’s hospital treatments.
