New middle school set to open in Medford

Medford, Ore. — Cascade Christian High School is opening their doors to middle schoolers this year, with a new multimillion dollar expansion planned.

6th though 8th graders from Grace Cascade Christian middle school have been at First Baptist Church for over 40 years. This August, construction on the 2nd floor of Cascade Christian High School will be complete.

That will give the middle school students their own classrooms, restrooms and lunchroom. However, the 2.1 million dollar project is still in need of funding.

Dr. Phil Long, High School Principal, says they plan to open in August even if the don’t reach their funding goal.

The middle school will serve 225 students and they are currently accepting applications.
