Ohio officers rescue deer in distress

Madiera, Ohio (NBC) — Police officers in Ohio came to the rescue of a deer after it became tangled in the netting of a soccer goal.

The rescue was captured on video by a bystander as officers worked to help the trapped animal.

Officers in Madeira often respond to reports of animals in distress. They can be dangerous for the officers involved due to the unpredictable nature of wild animals.

Luckily, the officers were able to cut the net and free the doe without injuring the animal or themselves.
