CURRY COUNTY, Ore. – The two men killed in a plane crash last week have been identified.
The Curry County Sherriff’s Office said on April 18, they received at least two reports of a possible plane crash near Brookings.
The plane was located in about half-an-hour. The two men on board were found dead.
On April 22, the sheriff’s office identified the pilot as 71-year-old James Penticoff of Crescent City. His passenger was identified as 62-year-old Charles Kresa of Smith River, California.
