Police said each of the three separate cases all resulted in an arrest on Friday, August 26th.
In the first case, police said they arrested Redmond resident Hector Pena after an OSP K9 alerted them to the possible presence of drugs during a traffic stop. Detectives found over a pound of heroin, a quarter pound of cocaine, and over $2,700 in cash.
According to MADGE detectives, the second case resulted in the arrest of Dorian Valdovinos-Diaz. Police found over 75 grams of individually packaged black tar heroin after serving a search warrant on W. 10th Street in Medford.
Police said in the third case, Rudolph Ortiz, who was currently behind bars at the Jackson County Jail, was found with around 80 grams of heroin. Ortiz was arrested the previous day for heroin possession. It is believed he smuggled the heroin into the jail by concealing them on his person.
