Possible explosive found at Cave Junction marijuana dispensary

0830 MARIJUANA DISPENSARYCave Junction, Ore. – A possible explosive device was found hanging from a Cave Junction marijuana dispensary’s door on Tuesday.

The Josephine County Sheriff’s Office said a person approached the dispensary in the 200 block of Redwood Highway at around 1:00 a.m. and tried to open the door. They were unsuccessful but returned around an hour later and hung what appeared to be a possible pipe bomb on the front door and lit it on fire.

Deputies said the fire eventually extinguished itself. The object did not detonate.
