Three missing people found at Crater Lake’s Rim Village

Stacey Valle and Jason Hoang

Crater Lake Nat’l Park, Ore. — A couple missing out of California were found at Crater Lake National Park.

And now, a 3rd person, a back country snowshoer, was found as well.

The family of Stacy Valle and Jason Hoang said they were last seen at a restaurant in Bend on Friday.

The family filed a missing persons report earlier this week in California.

On Wednesday, concerned family members of a snowshoer called police reporting that the snowshoer was missing.

Crater Lake National Park rangers rescued Valle, Hoang and the snowshoer Wednesday afternoon in a heated bathroom near Rim Village.

The park is currently closed due to the weather.

The ranger station has received almost 3 feet of snow since Sunday–and they’re at a lower elevation than Rim Village.
