Marijuana Expo Opens In Las Vegas

NC_marijuanaconvention1113_700x394(KSNV)  The fourth annual Marijuana Business Conference and Expo is underway in Las Vegas.

More than 200 exhibitors and an expected 4,000 “cannabusiness” professionals are expected to attend.

Exhibitor Jared Berry is showing off products he says a child could use.

“We take hemp and extract out the medicinal parts of the plant that are non-psycho active,” Berry said.

George Jage, president and publisher of Marijuana Business Daily, says opinions are changing about this plant. Its medicinal uses – he says – for cancer, Parkinson’s and epilepsy patients are more widely accepted.

This trade show, Jage says, brings together a wide assortment of like-minded people.

“It’s about prison reform. It’s about social equality. It’s about access to medicine for children that can use a non-narcotic form to actually have a life,” he said. “Kids that have seizures 60 a day, isn’t a quality life.”
