MEDFORD, Ore. – The City of Medford has selected an artist to paint a mural on the side of a building in Vogel Plaza.
Yulia Avgustinovich, who lives in Colorado, and has done several murals for other cities.
According to her artist’s statement she wants to showcase the importance of pear trees to the City of Medford as well as portray the red-tailed hawk as a protector and guardian of the land.
