City officials in Talent are considering new curfew times for minors.
The city council is scheduled to meet June 20 to revise the city’s ordinance on curfew times for minors.
The cities current curfew prohibits minors in public areas between midnight and 4 am and violators face a potential $500 fine.
The city is currently looking at extending the curfew just one hour to 5 am, but many believe the curfew should also start earlier.
