Fort Myers, Fla. (WBBH) — County workers made a nasty discovery after responding to reports of a foul odor coming from a Fort Myers storm drain.
The crew found the decaying body of an 11-foot alligator.
Florida Fish and Wildlife says although they hadn’t received any calls about the situation, they say the animals occasionally get caught up in drains.
