Medford, Ore. — The Southern Oregon Golf Championship wrapped up Monday with several matches including the men’s and women’s championship.
Locals and golfer’s from all over the nation spent the last several days going head to head in match play at the Rogue Valley Country Club.
The day’s biggest matches in the men’s division included four-time champion Mike Barry taking on Chico State graduate Justin Wiles. Aubrie Street and Danielle Giles also faced off in the ladies division.
Barry said, “Really the best thing about it is seeing all the people I’ve met in the past hanging out with old friends and getting to compete, trying to have fun.”
“Playing on home course is great. I grew up watching this tournament so it’s really fun to be out here,” said Street.
