Jacksonville, Ore. — The Britt Festival officially has officially released it’s poster for the 2016 season.
The fine arts poster, titled “Encore”, was painted by local artist Betty Barss, and was presented at 5:30 Thursday afternoon.
The Britt Festival says the piece was created with a series of paper doll chains connected at the elbow. Barss use of paper dolls in her artwork evolved from her enjoyment of paper dolls and paper chains during her childhood.
If you’re a Britt member at the donor level, that’s $250 dollars, you can pick up your complimentary poster at the Britt office in downtown Medford anytime.
