4th grader collects dozens of Easter baskets for foster kids

DSCN1436Medford, Ore. — Several dozen foster kids will have something to smile about this weekend. NBC5 News first told you about the Easter basket drive, earlier this month.

4th grader Emma Jean Bolton invited her classmates and community to put baskets together that would be delivered to foster kids in Jackson County.

All together more than 70 Easter baskets were brought in to Kennedy Elementary School.

The Jackson County Foster Parent Association will now work to get each one delivered to a local foster kid.
