7.0-magnitude earthquake strikes southern Japan

0415 Japan quakeKumamoto, Kyushu, Japan – NBC News is reporting a 7.0-magnitude earthquake has struck Japan on Saturday morning. The quake took place just one day after the region was rocked by an earlier 6.4-magnitude quake.

According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, all tsunami warnings have been lifted.
