A bill introduced to help Ukrainian refugees resettle in Oregon

SALEM, Ore. – A new bill is being introduced to help Ukrainian refugees resettle in Oregon.

It was introduced by Oregon state senator James Manning Junior.

He represents part of lane county. The bill in the legislature would help refugees access housing without a co-signer.

It’ll also waive a written and driving test if the applicant holds a valid Ukrainian driver’s license.

This week marked two years since the war began in Ukraine.
