Amber alert issued after California woman suspected of taking her own son

1024-amber-alertSonoma County, Calif. — A Guernville, California woman is suspected of taking her 7-month old son away from her Grandmother on Sunday.

NBC Bay Area reports Hannah Ruth Ashley may have taken the boy from his crib at the grandmother’s home. The grandmother has legal custody of the child.

The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office said Ashley recently made threat to take her child back during recent visitations.

7-month-old Henry Massey is described by deputies as weighing 15 pounds with brown hair and grey eyes.

Sheriff’s officials said Ashley drives a Subaru Forester with California plate number 5JKX522. Ashley is 5’6” tall, 125 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

The sheriff’s office said Henry is not believed to be in danger.
