Ashland man missing in Hawaii

Ashland, Ore., — An Ashland man living in Hawaii is missing.

Joshua Goodwin moved to Maui last month for a job.

He was last seen on shore last Thursday when he was supposed to meet a friend to “free dive” 200 yards off shore, but never made it.

“Well we’re all really worried, so it’s been really hard. Just waiting is hard, as people know that’ve been through this so we’re hoping for a good outcome.” said Elaine Watier, Joshua’s relative.

After searching more than 1900 miles over the last three days, the coast guard suspended its search.

We’ll give you more information as it becomes available.
