Car dealerships along I-5 hit by vandals, thieves

airport-chevy-theftMedford, Ore. — Medford police are investigating after 20 cars were broken into at Airport Chevrolet, and police say the incident may be connected with two other dealerships that were hit along I-5.

Management at the Biddle Road car dealership say windows were shattered in at least 20 vehicles, and 15 or more of the Chevy MyLink touch-screen systems were stolen from the dashes. It happened sometime between close Sunday night and early Monday morning.

Staff is working with investigators to provide surveillance video of the incident.

Dealerships in Mt Shasta, California and Roseburg, Oregon were also hit. Anyone who saw anything suspicious or who has information is asked to contact police.
