Pacific City, Ore. – The destruction of an iconic Oregon Coast landmark is now under investigation after video surfaced that reportedly shows a group of people knocking over the “Duckbill” rock formation.
Oregon Parks and Recreation said when the sandstone formation was originally found in ruins, there was no sign it had been vandalized. Since then, video obtained by the media shows a group of people apparently pushing the formation to the ground.
Oregon State Police are now investigating the incident.
