Eagle Point, Ore. — An Eagle Point family is out of their home on Friday night after a fire this afternoon.
That fire started around noon on Friday on Ponderosa Way. Flames destroyed the upper level, and smoke damaged the rest of the house.
Luckily, the family was able to evacuate. No one was hurt, however, they are shaken.
“The family is obviously visibly upset. However, they were thankful they were able to evacuate in time. Their family is safe,” Ashley Lara said, Fire District 3.
The cause is under investigation, and red cross is helping the family.
