Medford, Ore., — An “Education Innovation Summit” today brought together educators, students, parents and community members from around the Rogue Valley.
The second annual summit hosted by the Medford School District focused on technology this year.
With technology ever growing in today’s society, educators there say it’s important to keep up with the changing times.
“We can provide the best education as we can for our students and bring innovation into the classroom, and provide them with those 21st century skills, that are gonna allow them to be successful in life.” said one South Medford High School teacher, Tisha Richmond.
One hundred people from all areas of education as well as community leaders were in attendance.
