France native thankful friends are okay after massive attack in Paris

Medford, Ore.– For one local man watching Friday’s attack in France was heart wrenching.
“Its my home…it’s…I don’t know, it’s just something you don’t like to hear about.”

Kevin Rapet was watching when an explosion in Paris at the State de France Stadium ended a big soccer match between France and Germany.

“Huge game for the two teams.”

But Rapet, who was born 30 miles outside of Paris, couldn’t believe it was happening again.

“Second time in less than a year, it’s hard to process.”

We first spoke to Rapet back in January when 12 people were killed in a different attack in Paris at the Charlie Hebdo Newspaper.

“How can you stop something you don’t see happening.” And said to know the death toll in France has reached 100, really hits hard.

“It’s just crazy. It’s saddening.”

He’s thankful his friends in Paris are safe and said he can only hope there will be an end to this senseless violence.
