Medford, Ore. — At Confident Staffing, their mission is pretty simple, “We essentially find good jobs for good people.”
The Rogue Valley based company has been around since 2002, connecting local people with local jobs.
“Companies are having a hard time finding qualified employees, and so they’ll call us and we’ll help them find great employees that have the qualifications that they need.”
Chief Performance Officer Dean Angermeier says they help anyone looking for work– in any field, “We’re very proactive about finding opportunities for employees”
But, they help more than just individuals. Angermeier says when there are large layoffs in the Valley — they jump on recruiting ads and social media to connect groups of people who are newly unemployed with new jobs.
“Right now, we have a lot of call center opportunities, which with the FTD layoff is convenient for people who are looking for jobs.”
They also work closely with the Oregon Employment Department — or OED.
The best part Angermeier says, “It’s free to them. They come in and they apply and we help them find jobs with local companies that need employees.”
