Ashland, Ore. — Even though Mt Ashland wasn’t open today, people still braved the icy roads and windy conditions to play in the new snow.
Our cameras found people sledding, even getting into a few snowball fights.
One group we spoke with says they hit the mountain for a special reason.
“Came up here with some friends, one of our friends is turning 24 today, so we came up for a little birthday celebration! We were up here last weekend and so we thought, we had so much fun that time that we’d come back,” said Chrissy Dawson.
More snow is expected into the evening and if you plan on going up tomorrow, just know you won’t be alone!
