Klamath County, Ore. – A single-vehicle fatal crash happened just before 3:30 Wednesday afternoon near milepost 247, about 27 miles north of Klamath Falls.
The highway was closed completely for a time but has since reopened both southbound lanes and one northbound lane.
It’s still unclear if the person died as a result of the crash, or a separate medical condition.
Oregon state police are on scene investigating.
