Hundreds attend The Arc’s ‘Live to Dance’ event

Medford, Ore. — The stage was lit and the dancers were on-point Saturday night, all for a good cause at The Arc’s ‘Live to Dance’ event.

People from all over the Rogue Valley were at Cascade Christian High School to enjoy dinner and watch teams dance — in all different genres.

The Arc of Jackson County pairs people with developmental disabilities with local celebrities. The teams were dancing to raise money for the organization.

“Every year when I think we can’t see anything more amazing, it just continues to grow and change more and more. It is fabulous,” said Trish Welsh, executive director for The Arc.

The Arc said approximately 450 people attended Saturday night’s event, beating last year’s attendance record by over 100 people.
