0712 Corey FallsJackson County, Ore. — The Jackson County Sheriff is speaking out on the past week’s shootings in Louisiana, Minnesota, and Texas.

Sheriff Corey Falls says he wants his deputies to be safe, and also wants people of diverse populations to feel a sense of safety and acceptance.

Those programs include implicit bias, fair and impartial policing, police legitimacy and procedural justice, racial and bias-based profiling, and policing the LGBTQ community.
