Living Opportunities holds annual fundraiser

LIVING OPPORTUNITIESMedford, Ore. — 80 businesses in the Rogue Valley employ adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and an event Wednesday celebrated those partnerships.

Living Opportunities held their annual “Livin’ Lovin’ Lunchin'” event. The non-profit provides support to those with disabilities from job placement to around the clock care. Their annual luncheon is a fundraiser which aims to close the gap between what it costs to provide their services and what the state funds.

“This luncheon allows us to really dream big for people,” CEO Emilie Wylde says,”to help people get into jobs, help people live in an apartment where traditionally they were in a shelter.

Wednesday’s event was at capacity. If you’d like to learn more about Living Opportunities click HERE.
