2013 broke many records in the weather–including the driest calendar year on record for Medford.
Medford recorded only 8.99 inches of rain in 2013; shattering the old record of 10.43 inches set in 1959.
The average yearly rainfall for Medford is 18.25 inches, but it wasn’t the only city to beat the record.
2013 was also the driest year for Roseburg, Klamath Falls, and Mount Shasta City.
