40 Dogs in Need of New Homes

40 dogs in Northern California could soon be without a home.

Todayeight dogs traveled to Petsmart in Medford in hopes of trying to find a new owner.

Officials at Dexter’s Rescue Remedy Shelter in Horse Creek say they’re being kicked out of their current rental space because the landlord wants half of the profits from the rescue.

Shelter officials say their biggest concern is finding a place for all of the dogs.

“I’m hoping that more people will come forward with an offer to help and if we can find a place to call home, we can help so many more dogs.”

3 dogs were successfully adopted today.

The group plans to return to Petsmart tomorrow.
