Aid Gets To Isolated Communities In China Following Quake

Crews are rushing aid into isolated communities in China, following this weekend’s deadly earthquake

A6.6 magnitude earthquake struck southwestern China on Saturday. As many as 180 are believed to be dead, and more than 11,000 injured.

Officials say the quake sheered off a mountainside and isolated as many as half a million people from water and basic supplies.

This morning, crews used dynamite to blast a path through and will continue to work to get food, water and other supplies to those affected.
