Ashland is becoming a little more dog-friendly, following a vote from the Parks and Recreation Commission.
The Commission voted to allow four-legged friends in Garden Way, Clay Street, Garfield, Hunter, Railroad, Scenic, Sherwood, and Triangle parks.
They must be on a leash at all times, and have to stay off ball fields and the children’s playgrounds.
Before the vote, dogs were allowed only within six feet of paved surfaces.
