Gina Duquenne, a Basic Rights Oregon supporter and organizer came to celebrate same sex equality in marriage. Supporters of the Supreme Court’s ruling that same sex marriage is constitutional had many feeling optimistic about the future
Gina’s says the next step would be getting over 100,000 signatures in order to get same a sex marriage proposition on the ballot in 2014. As of right now it is unconstitutional unconstitutional in the state of Oregon.
Eduardo Placertoday’sruling is fully about love and he says he looks forward to the next chapter in his life. Butfor Gina this just means the beginning of a long awaited life ..one in which she is finally free to marry her partner.
