Medford Fire and Jackson County District 5 responding to a report of a vacant house on fire on Dark Hallow Road.

The home is a complete loss.

Now investigators are trying to determine if this is work of Medford’s serial arsonist.

Just after 3 Saturday morning, what looks like a giant fireball tears through Marie Callender’s in Medford, prompting a 2 alarm response.

“The roof was fully involved all the way from the front to the back and so with that that means the roof is compromised so especially with the tile roof here we were worried about collapse.”

That’s why they won’t be able to go into the wreckage to determine the cause until construction crews remove a leaning wall.
