Gaston County, N.C. — (WCNC News) Five people were injured Monday when a car and an ambulance collided in Gaston County, North Carolina.
Cameras on-board the ambulance captured the terrifying crash.
Officials say there were two emergency medical technicians in the ambulance and three people in the car. EMS Capt. Chris Hendricks said the ambulance from Stanley Fire and Rescue was responding to a call at the time of the crash.
The driver of the oncoming car has been charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
