Anaheim, Calif. — A waitress is happy to be alive, after she chased after customers who she says tried to ‘dine and dash’, but they didn’t just try to get away, they ran her over with their car!
It was all caught on video and we want to warn you, you may find the video hard to watch.
Maria, waitress “He hit me and I did fall and I did hit my head.”
Sunday evening, Rowshaid Pellum, Markeisha Williams, Shyteice Miles and Santeea Ralph allegedly at the Mexico Lindo restaurant in the in Anaheim and then took off without paying, when Maria ran out after them.
Maria, “I tapped on the window, politely, and I said ‘stop. Are you guys not going to pay’
This surveillance video allegedly shows the suspects in a black Jetta running over their waitress, Maria.
Maria, When I regained consciousness, I just remembered feeling one of the tires going over my foot.”
Deputies say Monday, March 23rd, they found the car about a mile-and-a-half away at a Motel Six in Stanton with the four suspects inside the vehicle.
Now out of the hospital, though sore, Maria appreciates the suspects are under arrest. Shes grateful to be walking, and with her husband and daughter at her side, simply thankful to be alive.
Maria, “It’s a miracle; Im very blessed to be here today. No fractures, just a bruised lung, few scrapes, but Im ok.”
A fund has been started to help Uriostegui pay her medical bills.
