Caught on cam: Sprague River shooting

Sprague River, Ore. — A Sprague River man was arrested last week on charges of attempted murder…and the man he’s accused of trying to kill caught the shooting on tape.

Clint Bimemiller says he was returning home after dropping his child off at a school bus stop Wednesday morning when the shooting occurred.

The gunman is heard on tape: “Smile, you fat ****! Want to aim a gun at me’ “He’s going to get his gun out…” (shot fired)

“And I took the video as I passed by.” Notes Bimemiller. “He mentioned a couple languages at me, and pulled his pistol out and fired at my car as I drove by.”

67 year old Percy Devon Wiley was arraigned on charges including attempted murder and menacing.

“It’s been an ongoing problem.” Adds Bimemiller. “I’ve been trying to get alleviations through the Sheriff’s department, the district attorney, and my own attorney.”

Bimemiller believes that he knows the cause of their dispute…

“Just spans back to his belief in, um, his religion versus mine.”

Bimemiller says he fells safe…for now.

“As long as he doesn’t get out.”

Percy Wiley was released on Monday afternoon after posting 10 percent of 50 thousand dollars bail.
