MEDFORD, ORE. — Men and women of West Medford are taking steps to clean up their part of town.
Randi Brock, who lives in Medford,started the West Medford Beautification Group on Facebook.
Saturday about a dozen volunteers got together to clean up Union Park.
They collected trash from the park and surrounding streets and alleyways. They also say they’re working with the city to getgraffitiat thepark removed.
“The community here is wonderful I’ve seen them come together and help perfect strangers at the drop of a dime and I want the whole area to know that this is a great part of town and we’ll show you that,” Brock said.
Organizers say they plan on cleaning up a different park in West Medford every two weeks.
