Community Leaders and Officials Prepare for Operation Care

Medford city officials and community leaders are gearing up to hit the streets Monday and they’re interested in your thoughts. It’s all part of Operation CARE, which stands for Community Awareness Rejuvenation Effort. Officials say this is a chance to find out how citizens feel about their neighborhood.

“We’re going to be going door to door and it gives people an opportunity to voice their concerns regarding livability issues or any other issues with the services provided ,” said Sgt. Derek Parks.

The operation will take place in the area of Jefferson Elementary, starting at 5 PM Monday. The opinions will be reviewed and give officials a better understanding at how to serve that community.
