Councilors help school deal with loss of local teen

Central Point, Ore. — A serious crash in Jackson County kills a Central Point teen on a skateboard.

Oregon State Police say 14-year-old Tanner Allen Robert Pascoe is dead after being hit on highway 99 and Mace road.

The crash happened around 8:45 last night, April 21st.

Pascoe previously attended Madrone Trail Public Charter School where today Jackson County mental health counselors were available to help students cope.

Joe Frodsham, Madrone Trail Charter School Director, We brought children in from class and informed them this morning and there’s the initial tears and intial shock and then they come together as a class.

Councilors were available to students all day, investigators say they do not believe impairment, speed or unsafe driving were involved and the driver is cooperating.
