White City, Ore. — The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help in finding a man who they said sexually assaulted a teenage girl in her own home.
Captain Monty Holloway said a man broke into a trailer on the 2700 block of Falcon Street in White City Monday night and raped a 16-year-old who was home alone.
He said the man was wearing a ski mask and black gloves, but when deputies got there he was gone.
Capt. Holloway couldn’t comment on whether or not the masked man knew the girl, but he said it seemed like he set out with a plan.
“It seemed like it was a very focused and very intentional act so it’s hard to tell until we complete the investigation,” he said.
The sheriff’s office has extra deputies patrolling the area, still looking for the man who committed the crime. The only description they have of him is that he’s heavy set.
