Detroit shooting leaves toddler dead

(WDIV) A 3-year-old girl was killed Thursday afternoon and three other people are hospitalized after a shooting in Detroit, Michigan.

Detroit Police Chief James Craig was among an army of police who rushed to the scene.

Craig said two people are in custody — one male and one female — and police are searching for four more. That’s a total of six people who police consider suspects.

Police say this started as a big fight at nearby Denby High School; one person was shot at the high school and three others, including the 3-year-old girl, were shot nearby.
