Dog attack owner makes court appearance

Medford, Ore. — An update on Charles Nathan, the man accused of allowing his three pit bulls to attack a Jack Russell Terrier pleads not guilty in court today.

During his arraignment, Nathan showed aggressive behavior. He argued against the charges related to his case. During his bail hearing in court, his demeanor took a more subdued tone.

“I apologize for my outburst last court appearance. I realize I was inappropriate in the subject,” Nathan said.

Nathan’s attorney asked for a lower bail amount, but the judge shot down the idea after reviewing Nathan’s criminal record. His bail is still set for $250,000.

Nathan will appear in court again at the end of June.
