Duck fan gets happy ending after StubHub fight

Ore. — A happy ending for a ducks fan who lost a chance at tickets to the college football national championship after an error by ticket seller stub-hub.

The Oregonian newspaper reports that Patrick Leonard bought tickets from the University of Oregon for $500 apiece and will attend Mondays game in Dallas.

The paper reports the university reached out to Leonard after stub hubs app had an error saying his tickets to the big game cost $1,600 bucks, not the $16,000 they tried to charge him.

Stub hub apologized for the error, but wouldn’t honor the sale, instead giving Leonard a refund and credit, now the University of Oregon alum will attend the title game anyway.
