Fast food protest

Fast food workers across the nation protested Thursday calling for higher pay.

In some cities, protesters blocked streets in “non-violent civil disobedience” and were arrested. Fast food workers in most cities work for a little more than $7 an hour.

The protests were part of the D-15 campaign, a collaboration of fast food workers and their supporters who want a $15 hourly wage and the right to form a union.
