White City, Ore. — Smoke could be seen for miles, following a fire at Biomass One in White City.
The fire started around 5 PM Sunday night, in a fuel pile on the east side of the property. Fire officials say it quickly took off and moved around the mill itself.
Avenue G has was closed as crews work to contain the flames. Firefighters will be in the area Sunday night to ensure the fire stays out.
