Girl Scouts celebrate National S’mores Day

Medford, Ore.– Marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers, that is the recipe Medford Girl Scouts celebrated on Sunday for National S’mores Day.

The Girl Scouts had an open house today to learn about camp fire safety and have some fun while doing it. The girls and their families got the chance to also make their own s’mores.

“We’re excited that we get to be together to make s’mores today and that we’re excited that we might not burn the marshmallows,” said Arowynn Champion.

The Girl Scouts Development Specialist said there are at least 50 Girl scout troops in Medfordand they are looking for more to join.
