Gospel Rescue Mission cuts free meals

Grants Pass, Ore. —  Gospel Rescue Mission announced they’ll no longer serve free meals.

Since its opening, the mission has been serving approximately 100 people each day – breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but lately they’ve become concerned with safety.

According to the mission, the number of weapons that came into the facility increased each day.

After several incidents, they felt it was best to cut the meal service.

Free meals are still available in other parts of Grants Pass, such as St. Vincent de Paul dining hall, on 7th Street.
