Medford, Ore. — A Jackson County grand jury has made their decision in the case where a Talent woman was stabbed and hospitalized.
The grand jury returned an indictment against 18-year-old Eric Vale Henshaw and 19-year-old Michael Lawrence Koch Coke-Prosser for attempted murder, assault in the first degree and conspiracy to commit three crimes; murder, rape in the first degree and abuse of corpse, which means they allegedly conspired to engage in sexual activity with or involving a corpse.
Police say the two set out with a plan when they brutally attacked Henshaw’s aunt Dawn Howell Saturday night, she escaped, but with critical injuries.
Henshaw and Coke Koch-Prosser are scheduled to be re-arraigned on January 14th.
